ERA Chinese Taipei deal for 2006 FIFA World Cup™

Zug, Switzerland, 26 October 2004 -- Infront Sports & Media has signed an exclusive agreement with ERA Communications Company Limited for exclusive broadcast rights for all matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ in the territory of Chinese Taipei.
ERA, which also held the Chinese Taipei rights for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan™, is a leading cable channel in what is one of the most cabled territories in the world - close to 90% of the Chinese Taipei television market is cabled. The channel is committed to building the popularity of soccer, which continues to develop as a sport in Chinese Taipei.
In November, ERA Communications Co. Ltd. (Azio Channel) will be the Local Host Broadcaster for the FIFA Futsal World Championship 2004 (for indoor football) – the first ever FIFA Championship to be staged in Chinese Taipei. Infront's subsidiary Host Broadcast Services (HBS), the dedicated Host Broadcast organisation for the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups™, will oversee the implementation.
