Zug, Switzerland, 5 December 2005 – Infront Sports & Media has signed an agreement with KBS America, America's largest Korean language television network, for the exclusive Korean language broadcast rights of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. KBS is entitled to broadcast various 2006 FIFA World Cup™ events via terrestrial, cable and satellite media platforms in the territories of U.S. and Canada.
 
The agreement includes the rights to broadcast all 64 World Cup matches, the opening and closing ceremonies and the Final Draw set for 9 December 2005 at the Leipzig Trade Fair. KBS has also acquired full access to the official 2006 FIFA World Cup™ preview series. The show consists of a series of 16 x 26-minute programmes and will be exclusively distributed by Infront in February/March 2006.

KBS America, located in Los Angeles, was established in August, 2004 as the U.S. division of KBS. KBS America has been successfully expanding carriage of KBS World on terrestrial, cable and satellite platforms in the U.S.
