Poland signs up for 2006 FIFA World Cup™ - Coverage now in place for all qualified nations

Zug, Switzerland, 29 March 2006 - Infront Sports & Media today announced two major live broadcast agreements for the territory of Poland. FIFA's worldwide TV distribution partner for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ signed public broadcaster Telewizja Polska S.A. and commercial broadcaster Telewizja Polsat S.A. The exclusive agreements ensure that all 64 matches of the upcoming FIFA World Cup™ in Germany will be available in Poland both on Free- and on Pay-TV.

TVP acquired the rights to transmit 32 matches live on Free-TV, including all matches of the Polish national team, the opening match and the final which takes place on July 9th in Berlin. TVP is Poland's public broadcaster and has the largest TV market share in the territory.

Telewizja Polsat has purchased a rights package that includes 32 matches for Free-TV exploitation (excluding the matches granted to TVP) and all 64 matches for its Pay-TV platform. Polsat is the leading commercial television network in Poland and is an existing partner of Infront, as the rights holder for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan™.

Both agreements are exclusive for the territory of Poland in the Polish language.

Oliver Seibert, an Executive Director of Infront, said: "We are very pleased to announce the signing with TVP and Polsat. Poland was the last of the 32 qualifying nations to reach a broadcast agreement for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. Fans in Poland will be able to fully enjoy the variety of FIFA World Cup™ coverage, both on Free- and on Pay-TV."
