The International Broadcast Centre, Munich

2006 FIFA World Cup™ International Broadcast Centre (IBC), Munich – Outside the HBS Master Control Room (MCR).


Incoming signals from all 2006 FIFA World Cup™ venues are monitored and distributed to Broadcast Partners from the MCR.



At the IBC Production Centre, HBS produces a broad variety high-quality audiovisual feeds.


HBS Quality Control high-end monitoring facilities for the Multi-Channel International Sound (MCIS) at the IBC Production Centre.



The IBC satellite farm under construction – HBS and T-Systems are organising satellite distribution for all 64 matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™.


Impressive air-conditioning in the television studio area of the IBC. HBS has installed 720 tons of air-conditioning vents for the event.
